Saturday morning update

I am at the hospital right now with Dad. He has been really tired and just wants to sleep all day. He is still very sore and it hurts him when he makes the smallest movements. He still has the chest tube in, which is pretty painful for him. His neck is still swollen, but not near as bad as before. He has been able to walk around a couple of times down the hall a little ways and back.

Mom says earlier this morning he asked the doctor if he really needed the surgery. I think he is starting to second guess if all this pain was worth it, because he wasn't in this much pain before the surgery. But the doctor reassured him that it was much needed, and they couldn't have waited much longer.

Right now Grandpa and Grandma Wilson are with my mom and I. Dad is sleeping and Grandpa keeps drifting off too. We are watching a weird movie on TV, but Grandma and Mom seem to be enjoying it. Grandma Miller is suppose to be here any minute as well.

Well that is it for now, they are taking Dad's IV out of his chest and are going to put it somewhere else that will be more comfortable for him. We will keep updating you!
